Irpex subrawakensis is a species of fungus in the family Meruliaceae. It is a small to medium-sized, resupinate fungus that grows on deciduous logs and branches. In East and Central Texas, it has been found on a variety of substrates, including oak, elm, and willow. The fungus produces white to cream-colored, wavy or irregularly shaped brackets with a smooth to velvety texture. Its spores are cylindrical to allantoid in shape and measure 4-6 μm in length. Irpex subrawakensis is relatively rare in the region, but can be found in moist, wooded areas during the spring and fall months.
